NotePad: Silky Silly

I love soft fabrics like silk, and I was wondering if silk would be suitable for a boho-kimono dress. What say you?

TLC: Clothings and Books for HIDUP Charity Org.

Family, Friends and Readers,

Do you have anything in your closets or shelves that you have not been wearing(clothings) /reading (books), that you are precisely sure you won't be able or wanting to wear/keep anymore?

I know that most of us have been keeping dresses, shirts , etc. that you wish you can wear, but aren't able to, or those of you who wish you can get rid of your old bajus to make way for new ones, kan?

Well, I have a brilliant solutions for this problem!
Let's all do a spring cleaning and at the same time charity for those who needs these items more~ :D

Our friend, Ms. Irma Osman, a member and founder of HIDUP (Habitat for Indigenous and Urban Programme) contacted us regarding this charity event that will be organised very soon. This donation drive is being held for the benefits of some of the villagers in Sarawak.

So what are you waiting for? Let us spread the love to those who needs to shelter their body and mind, and educate ourselves on living in a loving community.

Details regarding this event will be updated for your information.
Inquiries? Just let us know, and we'll get back to you!

To care is to succeed.

Many Love from us in FWK.

~Shopping for the Rabbit New Year~ Monica Quen's Cheongsams, Dresses and MORE!

Last Friday, as I arrived in Subang Parade, right after having a family dinner at Nando's I decided to get myself a pair of shorts for the weekends.. Then I got lost in Parkson Grand, that I accidentally discovered Monica Quen's cheongsams...
Monica Quen claims its name to be a cultural and exotic label that serves women with great appreciation of modest, yet elegant styles.
When Simplicity meets Elegance, the soft and feminine touch by Monica Quen reveals high-end oriental fashion.
This one reminds me of Paul Ropp's dresses. My favourite. With a mash up between oriental fabric-design and nostalgic hippie style. I'm in LOVE!
Chic China? This Chinese embroidered jacket can keep you warm, while making you the center of attention in the streets of Kuching this New Year :D
Their array of scarves collections... Simply classical!

...ain't this the most adorable bag you've ever seen???

Besides that, Monica Quen also have their own collection of wonderful tops which are colourful and unique, yet very feminine.. <3

Note to self: I want this one!!

I got myself a very elegant printed Monica Quen's cheongsam at Parkson Grand, Subang Jaya for RM169.90. Great deal for a very beautiful dress,.. but I won't be displaying my cheongsam 'til after CNY! :D
